SAVE THE RAIN INITIATIVES: WHY CLEAN PROJECTS?

Save the Rain began in 2005 in response to the devastating effects of the Global Water Crisis in northern Tanzania.  Discussions around implementations of rainwater harvesting for school children, the Women’s Water Initiative “In Her Shoes” project, sustainable agriculture practices and the importance of reforestation.
