Los Angeles (March 6, 2012) – The California Market Center (CMC) will be presenting thousands of Fall 2012 collections to buyers, Monday-Thursday, March 12 – 15, 2012, for Los Angeles Fashion Market, also open on Sunday, March 11 for Preview.  Resources will be featured throughout hundreds of the CMC's showrooms, in addition to the recently expanded Gift & Home Showcase, and special exhibit areas, including SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow, TRANSIT The LA Shoe Show, and FOCUS Apparel & Accessories Show.  To complete the Market experience, buyers and industry guests are invited to attend various special events, including an Opening Night Reception with new attractions, and a variety of perks throughout each day.

“We are expecting a very strong Market” says Derek Mosher, partner of the newly expanded Market Showroom in suite B403. “2012 started out so great for us, we have had to expand our showroom by over 30% for this upcoming Market.  Our prominent boutique buyers and large online retailers are very excited.”

Running concurrently with LA Fashion Market, SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow will be taking place in the Fashion Theater, Main Lobby on Monday-Wednesday, March 12-14.  “We are looking forward to showcasing an unmatched mix of apparel and accessories for this upcoming Fall 12 edition, including an expanded array of outstanding accessories exhibitors” says Olivia Reyes, Show Manager of SELECT.

This addition to the quickly growing CMC Gift & Home Showcase reinforces the CMC as Los Angeles’ thriving destination for gifts, holiday product and home furnishings in addition to fashion and accessories, and provides limitless creative  merchandising opportunities for all types of retailers.

Monday evening, buyers and industry guests are invited to an Opening Night Party hosted by the CMC from 5:00pm- 7:00pm in the Main Lobby.  The reception will feature complimentary cocktails, a D.I.Y. Muddle Your Own Patron Margarita lead by Patron girls, hors d'oeuvres and live DJ, courtesy of sponsors Trader Vic's LA Live, Patron Tequila, IZZE, Dry Soda, and Lite Pom.
