LA Kids Mini Market is a Fashion and Retail Industry Trade Event connecting professional Retail Buyers and Brand Sales Reps. As such, Badges are required for visitor identification, establishing you as a credentialed Retail Buyer when you enter a CMC Showroom. Badges are also required for access to any Special Events and Buyer Amenities offered strictly to credentialed Retail Buyers.
Registration is Free; however, Business Credentials and CMC approval of your Registration Application are required.
Credentialed Retail Buyers: The Retail Buyer badge is available for established brick-and-mortar or e-commerce Retailers and those who are buying products at wholesale prices with the intention to re-sell. A Retail Buyer is responsible for planning, selecting, and purchasing wholesale quantities of goods and merchandise that are then sold at retail.
Editorial Press: Fashion industry, news, and consumer-focused media outlets and working journalists, including print, TV, radio, and online as well as any writer, editor, or stylist with an editorial assignment for a media outlet that is related to the fashion industry, producing news coverage or editorial fashion content. Photography and filming in Showrooms and on the CMC property are only permitted if approved by the Showrooms and CMC, respectively.
Pre-Approved Guests: If you are NOT a professional Retail Buyer or Press, you may be approved to attend as a Guest. Please complete the Registration Application below to request a Guest Badge.
Please Note: Student Tours are not permitted at CMC during LA Market Weeks.
New Buyers: Please follow our Guidelines below. Each member of your company must register individually.
Returning Buyers: You must register and check in for a Badge for every Market you attend, even if you have attended a previous Market.
Groups: If you are attending with other colleagues, even if from the same company, each individual must register separately.
In order to qualify as a verified BUYER, you will need to provide documentation verifying your Retail Business affiliation.
Please complete the Registration Application below and upload photos, screenshots, or copies of at least ONE of the following.
Professionally-printed business card featuring your name and Retail Business name.
Business License indicating it is a Retail Business (DO NOT send a tax ID or sellers permit; These are not acceptable credentials).
Screenshot of a business email header featuring your personalized Retail Business email address (Black out any sensitive details).
Retail Business employee paystub featuring your name (Black out any sensitive details).
Letter or Email from verifiable Retail Business owner or manager stating your job status.
Letter of Intent from an attorney or bank on official letterhead stating the intent to start a new Retail Business. Document must feature your Your Name, Retail Business email address, and Retail Business affiliation (Black out any sensitive details).
Please note: A Photo ID will be required when you check in onsite during Market for your Badge.
In order to qualify for a PRESS Badge, present at least one of the following credentials in-person at Registration:
Professionally-printed business card featuring your name and Media/Company name.
Linked-In Profile featuring your current role with a Media company.
Digital or hardcopy of an Article or Editorial Work credited in your name.
Please note: A Photo ID will be required when you check in onsite during Market for your Badge.
To request a GUEST Badge, you will be asked to provide more information about your business and your interest in attending LA Market Week at CMC. Guest Badges are for industry professionals only.

When you pre-register online for this Market, you’ll enjoy an expedited Onsite Check-In for your Badge: You’ll only need to let our desk team know that you have pre-registered for this Market and show your photo ID in exchange for your Badge.
Please expect to receive an email from attend@cmcdtla.com confirming approval of your Registration within 7 business days after submitting this Application. Once approved, pick up your Badge during Market at the following Check-In Desk Location & Hours.
